  • CEDAW India Alternative Report prepared by the members of the Network in India led by the National Alliance of Women´s Organizations.
  • Provided input into the Verma Commission Report set up after the rape of young girl in Delhi, so that the existing criminal law could be changed.
  • Took action when the World Bank in India did not follow accessibility principles as  per law.
  • The Network members met UN Senior Rappoteur on Violence Against Women, Ms. Rashida Manjoo, in 2013 in four of the six meetings she organized in India i.e. in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Imphal.
  • Interacted with other networks at national and international level.
  • Disability Draft Bill 2014 – Advocacy is continuing in Delhi with Parliament and higher officers in the Government of India to include rights of 80 million women with disabilities in the new Bill.
